Perth Pop-Up

Yesterday, I participated in my very first market - the Perth Pop-Up in Stratford. I loved meeting all the people who dropped by my booth. I was excited to introduce my line of Perfect pastry products and they were well received. Thanks Pamela and Kaleigh for inviting me...I look forward to the next one!

I made a chocolate pecan pie to showcase my chocolate pastry. As promised, here is the recipe!


1 Pound Perfect Pastry chocolate pastry

1cup dark brown sugar

½ cup corn syrup

3 eggs lightly beaten

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

2 cups pecans

3 oz chocolate roughly chopped

Rollout pastry on lightly floured surface

Place pastry in 9 inch tart pan and carefully press in to sides.

Mix together sugar, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla.

Spread the nuts and chocolate on the bottom of the pastry shell. Pour syrup mixture over the nuts and chocolate.

Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350

Cool completely before serving
